Note: Currently, this policy applies to all cash game tables only. It is not yet implemented for tournaments, but we are working on expanding it to ensure a seamless gaming experience across all formats.
1. General Rules
- Disconnection protection is provided as a courtesy to prevent players from losing their hand due to an involuntary disconnection.
- It is not intended to be used as an advantage in gameplay, and players must ensure a stable internet connection when playing.
- The system will automatically detect when a player is disconnected and apply protection within the limits outlined below.
2. Disconnection Protection Allowance
- Each player is granted 3 disconnection protections per day across all cash game tables.
- Once a player exceeds their daily limit, they will be considered folded if disconnected during a hand.
3. Additional Play Time for Reconnection
- When a disconnection protection is triggered, the player will have 30 extra seconds to reconnect and act on their hand.
- If they fail to reconnect within this time, their hand will be auto-folded.
4. All-In Protection
To maintain fairness and prevent abuse, the following all-in protection rules apply:
- Standard Mode: Players who are all-in during a hand will only receive disconnection protection if they have the highest bet at the time of disconnection.
- This prevents abuse, such as players gaining extra time or attempting to exploit disconnection protection in all-in situations.
- If multiple players are all-in, only the player with the highest committed bet at the time of disconnection will receive all-in protection.
5. Abuse Prevention
- Repeated suspicious disconnections may result in review by game integrity staff.
- If a player is found abusing the system to gain an unfair advantage, they may face penalties, including disconnection protection suspension or account restrictions.
